Stephen M. Andino practices with the firm’s Tax Group, advising clients on all aspects of federal and state tax law. He assists individuals and businesses with income and sales tax audits; provides counsel on corporate and real estate transactions; addresses the tax implications of business reorganizations, mergers, and acquisitions; and helps form and advise nonprofits.
Prior to joining CSG Law, Stephen served as an associate at a redevelopment and public finance-based firm in New Jersey. In this role, he counseled clients on tax credit and PILOT applications, drafted commercial real estate contracts, and identified financing solutions for client projects through extensive research into state and federal tax laws and subsidy programs.
Earlier in Stephen’s career, he held a clerkship in the Tax Court of New Jersey for the Honorable Vito L. Bianco, where he researched and drafted opinions and legal memoranda for judicial review, and recommended decisions on complex and developing areas of New Jersey tax law.
Stephen received his J.D., cum laude, from William & Mary Law School where he received the John E. Donaldson Tax Law Award and was a member of the William & Mary Law School Federal Tax Clinic. He received his B.S. in Accounting from Rutgers University.
