Ross J. Childs practices with the firm’s Real Estate, Development & Land Use Group.
Ross focuses his practice on representing purchasers and sellers in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions. Ross represents developers on the sale of their condominium units. Additionally, Ross’s practice includes alcoholic beverage control law, where he has experience with alcoholic beverage control licensing and enforcement matters.
While in law school, Ross served as a real estate legal intern for a full-service Global 100 firm, where he focused on providing extensive research regarding the implications of COVID-19 on commercial real estate matters, assisted in commercial and residential real estate closings and reviewed title insurance documents including title reports and surveys for commercial transactions. More recently, Ross interned for a New York-based firm, where he gained significant experience in drafting real estate documents such as contracts, leases, loan and closing documents.
Ross earned his J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University – where he served as a Staff Editor for Volume 41 and an Associate Editor for Volume 42 of the Cardozo Law Review. Ross received his B.S., magna cum laude, from The Ohio State University.
