Team CSG Raises More Than $5,000 for RWJBH's Healthcare Heroes
Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (“CSG”) is proud to announce that Team CSG has raised more than $5,000 for #GirlTalkTakeover – an initiative formed by entrepreneurs Angela Simmons and Kerri Berson Levine – and its Music, Meals & More for Healthcare Heroes emergency fundraising campaign. The campaign supports the 44,000 healthcare workers at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and New Jersey’s RWJBarnabas Health (“RWJBH”) system.
Altogether, the nine participating teams have already raised over $28,000 towards the initiative to date. These funds have been used to provide more than 2,800 individually packaged, locally sourced meals and live-streamed musical performances – featuring acts including JoJo, Austin Brown and DJSC – for healthcare heroes on the frontlines, as well as to provide much-needed supplies to assist in the fight against COVID-19.
“While this time has been difficult for all of us across the State, this outpouring of support from all members of the immediate and extended CSG family has been an extremely gratifying and heartwarming development,” noted Daniel A. Schwartz, CSG’s Managing Member. “Solidarity is critical in times like these, and we are thankful to our community for its generous response.”
