CSG Attorneys Elected to Leadership Positions with the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association

Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (“CSG”) is pleased to announce that Abigail J. Remore, Michelle A. Schaap and Paula I. Brueckner were recently elected to the leadership team of the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association (“NJWLA”) – an organization dedicated to the advancement of women in the law. They were sworn into their new roles by the Honorable Lois H. Goodman, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the District of New Jersey, at an NJWLA virtual installation ceremony on July 1, 2020.

Remore joined the NJWLA’s Executive Board as Co-Secretary and Schaap, the NJWLA’s immediate Past President, continues her service on the Executive Board as Nominations Co-Director. Brueckner was named a Co-Director of NJWLA’s Young Lawyers Committee.

The NJWLA is an independent association whose mission is to advance and retain women in the legal profession through education and activism, to promote qualified women to the highest levels of law firm, government, academic, community and corporate positions and to endorse qualified female attorneys for appointments to the state and federal judiciary.

“We are so proud of the dedication these remarkable attorneys are showing towards the advancement of women within the legal field and beyond,” noted Jill Daitch Rosenberg, Chair of CSG’s Women’s Initiative ("WIN”). “The NJWLA’s mission aligns closely with that of WIN and our firm at-large, and I look forward to witnessing all the meaningful work and support take shape as the NJWLA embarks on what promises to be yet another successful year.”

Notably, one hundred percent of CSG’s women attorneys and paraprofessionals are NJWLA members.
