CSG's Giantomasi and Schwartz Recognized Among NJBIZ's 2021 Power 100

Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (“CSG”) is pleased to announce that Francis J. Giantomasi and Daniel A. Schwartz have been named to the 2021 NJBIZ Power 100, a recognition of New Jersey’s most influential people in business. In a year that presented unprecedented challenges to the State’s business community, Frank and Dan were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the firm, its surrounding communities and the greater business landscape.

The publication notes that Frank, a Member with CSG’s Real Estate, Development & Land Use Group, “serves as redevelopment counsel to many of the Newark-Elizabeth corridor’s most notable projects, including the Westinghouse and NJPAC redevelopments. So, too, are his fingerprints on an ever-growing list of large-scale projects outside of Essex County, including the MOTBY site in Bayonne, the North Jersey Developmental Center site in Totowa and much of the transit-oriented development taking place in Morristown.” In his capacity as Chair of the Board of Trustees of Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of New Jersey, NJBIZ also credits Frank as “one of the minds behind Newark Beth’s $125M renovation project, which when finished will change the face of the medical center and the landscape on Lyons Avenue.” Notably, Frank serves as a member of CSG’s Executive Committee and as a key visionary behind the firm’s remarkable 2020.

As CSG’s Managing Member, Dan’s leadership and strategic guidance are acknowledged as key drivers behind the firm’s record-breaking revenue of $80 million in 2020. NJBIZ highlights the growth of CSG’s physical footprint – including the establishment of its Short Hills, New Jersey office in Spring 2020 and the build-out that nearly doubled its Manhattan office space in Summer 2020. The publication also touches on the firm’s enduring commitment to diversity and inclusion initiatives that have continued to nurture a collegial, united and engaged workforce and positioned CSG as an attractive employer with limited turnover. Notably, more than 25 attorneys and staff have joined the firm since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
