CSG's David L. Schlossberg Recognized as a Leader in Finance by NJBIZ

David L. Schlossberg, Chair of Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC’s (“CSG”) Trusts & Estates Group and its Chief Financial Officer Emeritus, has been named among NJBIZ’s 2021 Leaders in Finance honorees. The program recognizes individuals in a variety of sectors for their achievements in the financial field.

Over the course of his more than 35-year career, David has established himself among New Jersey’s leading trusts and estates and tax law practitioners, and has leveraged this deep knowledge of financial planning and wealth protection to position the firm for decades of security and stability – first as CSG’s Managing Member from 1997 to 2014 and then as its Chief Financial Officer from 2014 to 2020. In this time, he has played a pivotal role in setting the foundation for the firm’s growth from 45 attorneys and $18.2 million in revenue in 1997 to more than 160 attorneys and $80 million in revenue in 2020.

“As an attorney and CPA who has spent his career vigorously protecting clients’ long-term financial interests, David has taken a similarly strategic, innovative and visionary approach to managing our firm’s financial well-being,” noted Daniel A. Schwartz, CSG’s Managing Member. “We are extraordinarily grateful for his guidance, which has been critical to our enduring success.”

In his probate and tax law practice, David counsels clients in a range of trust and estates planning, estate administration and other tax-related matters. His in-depth understanding of the issues surrounding the protection and distribution of wealth help ensure that clients meet not just their business and financial objectives, but their personal goals as well.
