CSG's Vartan Named to The InsiderNJ 100: Cannabis Power List
Lee Vartan, Co-Chair of Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC’s (“CSG”) Cannabis Law Group and a Member with its Litigation Group, has been named to InsiderNJ’s second annual Insider 100: Cannabis Power List – a recognition of influential voices and leading advocates at the frontline of New Jersey’s cannabis sector.
While serving in the attorney general’s office, Lee was responsible for helping to author the regulations for New Jersey’s Compassionate Use Medical Marijuana Act (CUMMA) and vetting and approving applicants for licensure. In private practice, he has used that experience to guide and position cannabis companies from across the country for entry into the State’s burgeoning marketplace. Notably, in 2020 Lee was honored as a Cannabis Law Trailblazer by The National Law Journal for his efforts.
A graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Law School, Lee is a sought-after commentator on cannabis law in New Jersey and has been featured in ROI-NJ, NJBIZ, NJ.com, NJ Cannabis Insider, New Jersey Business Magazine, and NJ Cannabis Media on the topic.
