Marc Leibman joins Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi

Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi has bolstered the ranks of its award-winning Real Estate, Development & Land Use Group with the hire of Marc Leibman.

Marc, who joined CSG Law in November, has served as a board attorney to zoning and planning boards in numerous municipalities throughout northern New Jersey. Over the course of his twenty-five-year career, Marc has represented individual, non-profit and corporate clients before various zoning and planning boards in Bergen and Hudson counties. 

Marc was previously a name partner at a prominent northern New Jersey firm. He is continuing to represent his current clients at CSG Law, including the Borough of Dumont, the Fair Lawn Zoning Board of Adjustment and the River Vale Joint Planning Board. Marc is excited to work with the outstanding Real Estate, Development & Land Use Group and bring the benefits of CSG Law’s deep bench of talent to his private and public clients.

In addition to land use and zoning, Marc has significant trial experience in a wide range of commercial litigation matters. He previously led his firm’s real estate tax appeals practice involving properties assessed in the $10+ millions. In this role, Marc was immensely successful in his representation of both municipalities and taxpayers in trials before the county tax boards and the tax courts.

CSG Law, which earlier this year was named Law Firm of the Year by the New Jersey Law Journal, has grown its ranks from 160 attorneys in 2019 to more than 175 attorneys at present. Moreover, the Real Estate, Land Use & Development Group also earned the New Jersey Law Journal’s 2021 Dealmakers of the Year award.
