Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi Adds Experienced Tax Appeal Litigation Associate

Following the recent announcement that one of New Jersey’s foremost real property taxation attorneys, John R. Lloyd, will be joining Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi, his long-time colleague, Anthony J. Marchese, will also become part of the growing tax appeal practice of the 43 year old New Jersey business and policy law firm. Both Mr. Lloyd and Mr. Marchese will join the firm effective June 1, 2015. Mr. Marchese worked with Mr. Lloyd at Nowell Amoroso Klein Bierman for the last eight years representing municipalities and individual taxpayers in all aspects of tax appeal litigation.

Anthony Marchese also will be joining the former name partner, Henry J. Amoroso, at CSG. One of New Jersey’s most respected transactional and civil litigation attorneys, Mr. Amoroso joins CSG later in May, 2015.

“We are delighted to welcome this seasoned associate who adds his excellent experience to our growing tax appeals practice,” commented CSG’s Jill Rosenberg.

Mr. Marchese has sixteen years of experience in litigation, bankruptcy and tax appeals. After earning his Juris Doctor degree from Western New England School of Law (1998) in Springfield, Mass., he was a Law Clerk for one year to New Jersey Superior Court Judge Joseph Riva.  Mr. Marchese earned a B.A in Political Science in May 1995 and graduated with Phi Beta Kappa honors from Rutgers University, Newark, NJ. In 2013, Mr. Marchese was named a “Rising Star” by New Jersey Super Lawyers.

In the last two years, CSG has added 37 attorneys including 7 members.
