Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC Member John A. McKinney Jr. Elected to the Board of Regents of the American College of Environmental Law

Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (“CSG”) today announced that John A. McKinney Jr., a resident of Hackettstown, NJ, and a member of the firm’s environmental law group, has been elected to the Board of Regents of the American College of Environmental Law (ACOEL).

The ACOEL is a national association of legal professionals from around the nation dedicated to: maintaining and improving the ethical practice of environmental law; the administration of justice; and the development of environmental law at both the state and federal level. Serving on the Board of Regents, Mr. McKinney will be responsible for guidance and oversight to the organization; he has been a fellow at ACOEL since 2011.

“I’m thankful to the ACOEL Regents and Fellows for electing me to this leadership position while I’m also the ACOEL’s Programming and Education Committee co-chair. It will be exciting working with the other Regents and Fellows to continue to improve our collective implementation of environmental ethics and justice,” McKinney said. “Plus, as a member of Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi’s growing environmental law practice, there’s a decided advantage for our clients when we develop contacts in the private bar, government and academia in other parts of the country.”

Mr. McKinney, serving as part of CSG’s renowned Environmental Law Group for the past 12 years, represents companies in complex environmental legal matters.
