Gemma Giantomasi Named to New Jersey Law Journal's 2017 New Leaders of the Bar

CSG is proud to announce that Gemma M. Giantomasi has been selected by the New Jersey Law Journal for its 2017 “New Leaders of the Bar” listing of the state’s leading young attorneys.

The winners will be honored during the New Jersey Legal Award’s Professional Excellence event on June 20, 2017 at the Brooklake Country Club in Florham Park, NJ.

Ms. Giantomasi, a member of the firm’s Real Estate, Development & Land Use Group and the Food & Beverage Group, represents purchasers, sellers, developers and lenders in real estate transactions. She focuses her practice on real acquisitions, sales, finance, condominium development and creation. Her practice also includes alcoholic beverage control law. She has experience with alcoholic beverage control licensing and has successfully handled many applications for person-to-person and place-to-place liquor license transfers before various alcoholic beverage control boards and municipal councils.

Ms. Giantomasi currently serves as board secretary and general counsel of Opportunity Project, a Millburn-based non-profit that provides life skills, job training and other services to adults with traumatic brain injuries. In addition, Giantomasi has also assumed several leadership roles at Volunteer Lawyers for Justice, a not-for-profit law firm dedicated to improving the lives of the economically disadvantaged throughout New Jersey. She currently serves as the co-chair of its Generation Now Committee, which encourages young lawyers’ involvement in the non-profit’s efforts through outreach to law schools, bar associations and other means. She is also on the steering committee of the Newark Re-entry Legal Services program.
