CSG Hosts Launch of New Jersey Chapter of the Women's White Collar Defense Association

Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi (“CSG”) was pleased to host the launch of the New Jersey Chapter of the Women’s White Collar Defense Association (“WWCDA”) on July 24, 2018. Danielle M. Corcione, Member with CSG’s White Collar Criminal Defense & Government Investigations Group, will serve as the new chapter’s leader.

The launch was attended by Corcione and additional founding chapter members Friedman Kaplan’s Mala Ahuja Harker; Alston & Bird’s Jenny Kramer; Baldassare & Mara’s Jennifer Mara; Baker Botts’ Lynn A. Neils; Riker Danzig’s Ryan Lee O’Neill; and Gelber + Santillo’s Kristen Santillo. Sidley Austin’s Karen A. Popp, who founded the WWCDA and serves as its Global Chair, also attended via teleconference.

“I’m delighted to help launch the WWCDA’s New Jersey Chapter and am deeply honored to serve as its leader. I believe in the collective power of women advancing one another professionally and that commitment aligns perfectly with the WWCDA’s mission,” stated Corcione. “It is a privilege to join the organization’s leaders as a member of the WWCDA Advisory Board.”

The WWCDA is a coalition of more than 1,400 women attorneys and other professionals throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia who specialize in white collar criminal defense. The practices of WWCDA members focus on a range of issues including antitrust actions, complex commercial litigation, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, government contracting, healthcare fraud and abuse, insider trading, securities litigation, qui tam and whistleblower cases, and more.
