CSG's Vartan Tapped as Trustee of Tropicana Atlantic City Sale to Eldorado Resorts

Lee Vartan, member in the Litigation Group with Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi (“CSG”), will serve as the State-designated Trustee for the Reno, Nevada-based Eldorado Resorts’ (“Eldorado”) acquisition of Tropicana Atlantic City.

In this role, Vartan will monitor the property’s day-to-day operations as Eldorado obtains its full casino license from the New Jersey Casino Control Commission (“NJCCC”). Eldorado was granted interim authority to own the casino by the NJCCC on September 12, 2018.

The appointment follows Eldorado’s $1.85 billion acquisition of the operating assets of seven Tropicana Entertainment casinos across six states—including Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada and New Jersey. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2018.
