Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi (“CSG”) is pleased to announce that it has contributed $1,000 toward the 2018 Gun Buy Back Initiative being organized by the Essex County Bar Foundation and the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office.

On December 3, the firm’s contribution was presented to the Essex County Bar Association’s (“ECBA”) President Raj Gadhok and Executive Director Wendy Deer by Daniel A. Schwartz, CSG’s Managing Member; Francis J. Giantomasi, a former ECBA trustee; and Mauro G. Tucci Jr., who currently serves as a member of the ECBA Board of Trustees.

“We thank CSG for its longstanding support of the ECBA. The firm’s generous contribution gets us closer to reaching our goal of making Essex County safer today, and for years to come,” said Gadhok at the presentation.

“A firm with deep roots in Essex County, CSG will always be among the ECBA’s most avid supporters,” added Giantomasi. “We are proud to contribute toward this ambitious program that will make our communities safer and, ultimately, save lives.”

Through contributions from local law firms and businesses, attorneys and other members of the legal community, the Gun Buy Back Initiative is nearing its $100,000 goal.

“The outpouring of support from across Essex County has been tremendously gratifying,” commented Tucci. “We look forward to a strong push to close out the fundraising stage of this initiative.”
