NEFA Newsline: California and New Jersey - Harbingers of the Impending State-Specific Laws Requiring Truth-in-Lending Disclosures

Robert L. Hornby, who serves on the National Equipment Finance Association's ("NEFA") Board of Directors, authored an article in the March/April 2019 issue of the NEFA Newsline article titled, "California and New Jersey: Harbingers of the Impending State-Specific Laws Requiring Truth-in-Lending Disclosures."

In the article, he details the specifics of California's recently-enacted Senate Bill 1235 and New Jersey's emerging Senate Bill 2262 – both of which provide for additional lender disclosures and borrower consent for commercial financing transactions of $500,000 or less.
