SBA Issues Clarification of "Payroll Costs," Applicability of Affiliation Rules and Answers Other Questions

The Small Business Administration and the U.S. Department of the Treasury continue to release guidance for businesses seeking forgivable loans under the Paycheck Protection Program. The most recent guidance, last updated on April 6, 2020, consists of frequently asked questions addressing topics such as the applicability of the affiliation rules and the proper calculation of payroll costs.
